Location: Casa Banderas is a newly built complex located just above LIDL for those of you who know La Cala and it is about 1.5km to walk to the beach and into the heart of La Cala de Mijas. La Cala de Mijas is the heart of Mijas Costa and still maintains its Andalucian seaside village atmosphere. From being a tiny fishing village originally, its population has increased. There are schools, a health centre, public library, post office, shops and cultural centre, as well as many excellent bars and restaurants and wide sandy beach which is also blue-flagged and quality marked for the clear water, fine sand and other nearby services.
