A spacious apartment located in the popular complex of Bahia Estepona, right next to the beach. This cosy one bedroom property offers comfortable accommodation for two guests. The large living room consists of a lounge area with two comfortable sofas (one of the sofas is actually a sofa bed so a third guest may use it). and a flat-screen TV with a wide package of national and international channels including Sky TV. There is a dining table with seating for up to four guests and the typical kitchen is well equipped and has all the basic appliances for your holiday (no dishwasher). The good sized en-suite master bedroom is equipped with a king size bed (150x190cm) and air conditioning throughout the apartment. The en-suite bathroom has a shower, WC, bidet and sink. The property has a small, west-facing balcony with views to the communal gardens and mountains. Just outside the apartment building there is a large saltwater swimming pool with separate children's pool and a little bit further, direct access to the beach and bike trail. Within the closed community there is open and secure parking and a tennis court. We do recommend car hire for this location. All in all, a great base for a memorable family holiday in Estepona. This apartment is located in a popular urbanisation known as Bahia de Estepona, less than a five minute drive from the center of Estepona. This small beachfront complex has easy access to the local beach of Playa de Guadalobón, with its shallow waters and fine sand. Next to the beach there is a beautiful promenade through which you can walk to the center of Estepona. There are two supermarkets nearby and a couple of restaurants within a walking distance of 10/15 minutes. The marina, with a multitude of bars, cafes and restaurants is located at a driving distance of approximately five minutes. Estepona is also known as the Garden of the Costa del Sol, it has all the ingredients for a fabulous holiday. Plenty of sandy beaches, quaint whitewashed streets, mountains, open public spaces, friendly bars and restaurants, plenty of shops along with excellent transport links allowing you to explore the wider area. The airports of Malaga and Gibraltar are easily accessible and the main road that connects the entire coast has several entry/exit points in the city. If you are thinking of sightseeing, the villa has easy access to many famous cities: Granada with the Alhambra Palace and Generlife gardens, Seville with its huge open squares and history, Malaga with the Picasso museum and Alcaza, Cordoba with the Mosque and colourful center. In short, an ideal base for exploration and relaxation.

There is also a well attended “happy hour” every Wednesday and In the winter months it has “live music” once a week. The restaurant Dos Leones is only a 5 minutes walking from the apartment has a great menu specialising in great steaks!. A 12 minute stroll from the apartment will take you to the well-known “strip” on Avenida de Espana which has multiple restaurants/bars and a supermarket/shop and local tourist information.

All together making this apartment a fantastic location for your holidays in Estepona. The property is located in the well known urbanisation of La Fragata, very close to the marina of Estepona. Less than eight minutes walk, the marina of Estepona offers a wide variety of international pubs, bars and restaurants. In addition, the famous international market takes place every Sunday at the port, where you can buy some souvenirs from your holidays. The local market takes place every Wednesday and is also located very close to the urbanisation, less than 10 minutes walk. The charming centre of Estepona is approximately 15-20 minutes walk. We highly recommend a walk through the old town of Estepona, which still retains the taste and beautiful appearance of the typical Andalusian white town. In the town centre you can also find lots of tapas bars and typical Spanish food restaurants. There are two supermarkets less than 5 minutes walking from the urbanisation. The closest beaches are Playa de la Rada and Playa del Cristo, both with blue flags and about 10 minutes walk from the property, making it a privileged amenity for your holiday in Estepona.

Due to its location, it would suit families without a car, being close to beaches, restaurants and supermarkets. Leading on from the lounge/dining area there is a good sized south facing balcony with seating for four. The property has access to two swimming pools within the urbanisation (please check opening hours) that are open all year round. There is community parking (first come, first served) if you do decide to hire a car to explore the area. This apartment is located in the heart of Estepona marina, just a couple of minutes walk to two supermarkets, a plethora of bars, restaurants and cafes. A taxi rank is very close by as well as bus stops offering a service to Marbella and beyond. From the property, there are the local blue-flag beaches of Playa del Cristo, with its shallow waters and soft sand, and Playa la Rada with its beach bars and water activities. Estepona is located about a 35 minutes drive from Gibraltar - British styles in the sun - and about 55 minutes from Málaga airport. On Sunday morning the harbour is the place to be for its craft and brick-a-brak market. The lovely old town of Estepona with its cobbled streets is only a 15 minute stroll along the Paseo Maritimo (promenade). Estepona town is a very vibrant and Spanish town; it is packed with shops, tapas bars, restaurants and has beautiful flower lined squares - perfect to watch the world go by. Estepona is a truly a delightful town for your memorable holiday. Estepona is also a great location if you are planning on sight seeing in some of the larger cities - Seville, Granada and Cordoba are all in easy day-trips (excursions available from offices in the marina).
